Somewhere along the line Hollywood decided that a good script and strong characters weren’t enough to make a good drama. But Destiny Image Films (and you!) know that you don’t need to add in sex, violence, or drugs in order to make a great dramatic film.
To that end, Destiny Image Films is searching out books with strong Christian themes that would make excellent dramatic movies. In addition to A Christmas Snow and The Lamp, our first two family-friendly features, Destiny Image Films hopes to bring more movies to market, possible ones based on these books.
After the Fall by Ryan Phillips
How do you reach for the stars when you’ve fallen so far all you can see is darkness?
Angels of Humility
Paul is a young seminary graduate called as interim pastor to a small rural church. He is full of zeal, but mainly for self-promotion. He sincerely loves Jesus, but past emotional wounds leave him craving attention and affirmation. He is easily led by demonic influences, especially Pride. His angel, Saldu, is regularly frustrated as he tries to guide Paul toward a more humble attitude.
I’ll Cross the River
"Lay still - pretend you are dead," Young Soon told her trembling young son as she lay, bleeding, on the ground, and nestling her nursing baby closer.
Don’t forget Destiny Image Films’ first family-friendly feature, A Christmas
A Christmas Snow
A Christmas Snow will challenge you with a message of forgiveness and redemption, as the storm of the century...brings the gift of a lifetime.
